Amelie Peccoud, Administrative & Executive Assistant

Amélie Peccoud began her journey with the Denver Young Artists Orchestra back in 2017 as a member of the Young Artists Orchestra. Inspired by the quality of the DYAO program, she returned in 2023 as a Teaching Artist in the Tune Up program, teaching violin to groups of 10 or more elementary schoolers throughout the Denver Metro Area. She is excited to continue her involvement as the new Administrative and Executive Assistant.

In addition to her work with DYAO, Amélie also contributes to music education by serving as a mentor, violin instructor, and orchestra clinician with youth orchestras and music academies throughout the state. An avid violin and viola performer, she has been working with ensembles such as the Boulder Symphony, the Symphony of the Rockies, and the Fort Collins Health and Wellness Community Orchestra. She continues to expand her musical skill set by venturing into composition.

Amélie earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Music from Colorado State University where she focused on violin and viola pedagogy, studying under Leslie Stewart and Zo Manfredi. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing and playing with her pup Ivy.
