Text Messaging (SMS) Tems & Conditions
These Text Messaging Terms and Conditions (the “SMS Terms”) govern your enrollment in and use of the Denver Young Artists Orchestra text-messaging program (the “Program”). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to the Program, you agree to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Program Description. The Program allows DYAO to send text (SMS) messages to enrolled participants. Messages may include donation confirmations and receipts, event and concert reminders, ticketing information, program and rehearsal updates, volunteer and participation coordination, fundraising and giving-campaign messages, and other organizational announcements.
2. Consent to Receive Messages. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in — whether through our website, a paper or digital form, in person, or by texting a keyword to our number — you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from DYAO at the mobile number you provide, sent using automated technology. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services or of making a donation. You represent that you are the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number provided, and that you are at least 18 years of age (or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian).
3. Message Frequency. Message frequency may vary, depending on your interactions with DYAO and the campaigns you are enrolled in.
4. Message & Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile service provider. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging or data plan.
5. Opting Out — Reply STOP. Reply STOP to opt out. You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any DYAO text message. After you send STOP, we will send you one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will no longer receive text messages from DYAO unless you re-enroll.
6. Help — Reply HELP. Reply HELP for assistance. For help or more information at any time, reply HELP to any DYAO text message, email info@dyao.org, or call 303-433-2420. Replying HELP will return DYAO’s contact information and a brief description of the Program.
7. Support Contact. Questions about the Program may be directed to DYAO at info@dyao.org or 303-433-2420.
8. Re-subscribing / Opting Back In. If you have opted out and later wish to resume receiving text messages, you may re-enroll by texting START or YES to 303-433-2420, by opting in again through our website or a DYAO sign-up form, or by contacting info@dyao.org and asking to be re-added to the textmessage list.
9. Supported Carriers. The Program is available on major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, Wireless, T-Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
10. Changes to Your Mobile Number. If you change or deactivate the mobile number you provided, you agree to notify DYAO so that we can update our records and avoid sending messages to a reassigned number.
11. Privacy. Your mobile information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No mobile information or SMS opt-in / consent data will be shared, sold, or otherwise disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Such data is shared only with the messaging-service providers we use strictly to deliver the messages you have requested, or as required by law.
12. Changes to These SMS Terms. DYAO may modify these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the updated document posted on our Site, and, where appropriate, communicated to enrolled participants. Your continued participation in the Program after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
Enrollment Disclosures & Opt-In Confirmation
The Program uses keyword enrollment, so two additional pieces of copy are required: the opt-in disclosures shown wherever the keyword is promoted, and the automated confirmation message a subscriber receives when they join.
