DYAO Welcomes Maestro Lee Anderson to lead String Ensemble & Allegro Strings!

DYAO is excited to welcome Lee Anderson as the new conductor for Allegro Strings and String Ensemble beginning in the 2024-2025 Season!

Lee Anderson is the Director of Orchestras at Fairview High School and Southern Hills Middle School in Boulder, CO. In addition to teaching, Lee keeps an active performing schedule as a professional violist. He performs regularly in the viola section of the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra and as Principal Viola of the Boulder Symphony Orchestra.

Lee received a Bachelor of Music Education, Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance, and Master of Music in Viola Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. When not in the orchestra classroom or on the performance stage, he enjoys hiking, crossword puzzles, and spending time with his wife Aspen, their dog Max, and their cat, Clara.

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
