DYAO Wins Women Philharmonic Advocacy Award

DYAO is proud to announce we have been chosen as the 2023 Women's Philharmonic Advocacy's Performance Grant Winner in the Youth Ensemble Category which included a $5,000 prize! All the winning ensembles are leaders in programming that illustrates principles of diversity and inclusion: representing gender diversity, diversity of race and ethnicity, varied backgrounds, varied levels of recognition and popularity, and including music from a range of chronological eras.

We are very honored to receive this award in recognition of our efforts to ensure symphonic music is accessible to everyone and encouraging our diverse population of young artists to take up space in this industry. Find out more about Women's Philharmonic and the other 2023 winners!
