DYAO & Colorado Symphony Partner to find new Conductor

The Denver Young Artists Orchestra is excited to share that it will be expanding its strategic Alliance with the Colorado Symphony. The organizations just posted a new joint conducting position that will serve as DYAO’s Music Director, Conductor of the Young Artists Orchestra, and the Assistant Conductor of the Colorado Symphony beginning in the 2023-2024 season. This partnership is a return to a structure that the organizations shared for a majority of its 45 year history that provided incredible opportunities for DYAO students.

The Colorado Symphony’s Artistic General Manager shared, "This is an exciting moment for the Colorado Symphony and Denver Young Artists Orchestra! We move into a new chapter in our collaboration by having the assistant conductor of the Colorado Symphony serve as the Music Director for DYAO.”
