As part of our new Senior Spotlight Series, we want to honor the Class of 2020. We will be featuring those DYAO family members who get to spread their wings and start a new and exciting chapter in their lives.
This week, we start with FRANK LUNA.
Frank is a senior in Adams County and has been a member of DYAO since 2019. A member of the Young Artists Orchestra (YAO), Frank is a double bass player and currently studies with Scott Unruh. Upon graduating, he plans to attend Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where he will major in Biomedical and Chemical Engineering with a minor in Bass Performance.
When asked what DYAO means to him, he answered: "Absolutely everything. I have never played in an ensemble any where near this magnitude (or even with other strings), and the things I've learned about music and performing are completely priceless."
DYAO is proud of this young man and we cannot wait to see the amazing things he will accomplish! Let that Ram Pride shine!
