Title: Heart Strings

I enjoy the process of imagining and creating what ever is in my head; whether that is visual arts, music, acting, writing or whatever. I believe that despite an artist's technical proficiency, unless they are communicating through their heart, they cannot touch the heart of their audience. So, it is the heart that makes the music. It was important that I repaired, restrung and tuned the violin after I painted it. I wanted it to be ready for someone who could make their heart come out of it.

Influenced by the great trumpet masters Louis Armstrong and Dizzy Gillespie, Marcos picked up the trumpet at an early age and continued to play until high school when his school music program lost funding. In college he studied graphic art and illustration for a brief period at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Denver. He has had accomplishments as an artist, musician, actor, and writer. Marcos is currently Art Director for Ford Motor Company specializing in print and broadcasting advertisement.
